Siemens Signs energy deal with Abu Dhabi of USD109 million

(MENAFN) Germany-based Siemens signed on Wednesday a new substation establishment contract of USD109 million in Abu Dhabi, reported Arabian Business.

The Shamkha 400/132/33kV substation is aimed at providing new infrastructure and industrial areas with the growing electricity demand in the region.

It's worth mentioning that it's the second agreement of its kind for Siemens in UAE, in which the company has achieved around 5 billion profit last year.
